In this video I'm recapping how I build a small pond and waterfall in my back yard. I started this last fall and completed it the following spring. I dug the main hole out with my tractor then smoothed out the shape by hand with a shovel. I then lined the base with tarps and a pool liner before filling with thousands of rocks, then stacked a large rock pile for the waterfall. I used an electric pump to run the waterfall and routed the hose around the rocks and up the back of the tower then used several rocks to conceal the hose. For added effect I put in a set of waterproof solar powered LED lights to light up the water and waterfall at night. The lights change colors which I think looks pretty cool when we're gathered outside in the evenings. In this video I'm finally getting around to a project that I have been putting off for some time. My 370z is quite loud and at certain RPM the exhaust noise is nearly ear piercing due to the frequency and resonating with metal and other materials in the car. My plan is to install sound deadening sheets to dampen the vibrations, reduce some of the road noise and hopefully soften the exhaust note as heard from inside the car. I'm installing Kilmat brand sound deadening sheets which are made up of a sticky rubber like substance with a thick aluminum top. These are an affordable alternative to name-brand products such as Dynamat and Resonix. Once the sheet is laid on the metal you then use a metal roller to compress the sheet and tightly bond it to the metal to better absorb the vibrations and reduce the noise. I've noticed at least 1.5dB less road and engine noise in my testing after installation but the biggest difference is the reduction in the sharpness of the exhaust resonating at higher RPM. In this video I'm replacing rear sway bar links on a 2013 Honda Civic. I'm demonstrating two different methods of removing the links. The first of which is the more difficult way but allows you to possibly reuse the link which is helpful if you just need to remove it temporarily. The second way which is the easiest involves cutting the studs on the stabilizer link which is much quicker and is helpful for stubborn rusty parts that are difficult to remove.
